The Rockland County Times published an incredibly reckless story on February 7^th that the Village had settled a multi-million dollar fine for one hundred dollars without even checking with Village officials if the story was true. It isn’t. Sadly, the inaccurate reporting was written in such a way to anger and divide you. We quickly responded by sending the letter below but not before a person (running against us for election) shared the story on social media.

Airmont is a wonderful community and your team tirelessly works for all our residents. We are saddened to see stories like this but will not let our opponents tear us down. We will always stand up for you and we consistently stand up for what is right.
